Ode to Dog

Until several years ago i wasn't a dog person. Until Harlee i wasn't THAT kind of dog person. The annoying one who takes their dog everywhere, lets them lick their face, lets them sit at the kitchen table, coos to them, calls themselves Mama.

More than ever, I am deeply indebted to this little fur ball. Having her here with us in San Francisco she has proven that she is a therapy dog in every sense. She is at my side constantly. She makes us all laugh, distracts us, gives us all unconditional love. She doesn't love me one bit less when I am swollen faced, hole in the neck, and speechless.

Thank you my sweet Harlee for bringing us all joy every day.
